So far so good! The subs are optional! You can either do a lesson and come back the next day to continue and do another and so on and so forth OR pay (the average sub ASL app amount) to keep going. They offer a free trial but I just can't afford the sub so I keep doing the daily lessons. I have learned more from this app though than I have the other one when I had it (you know the one, it is widely known and seen in a LOT of ads) I'm recently hard of hearing. So learning ASL is important for me.

Fantastic resource. Decided to learn ASL and this app is the best of the several I tried. There's plenty to learn and do without a subscription which is always nice. Easy to follow, love the option to slow the video. I'd love to see resources added, such as a downloadable alphabet chart. I also think it would be nice to have a 30 second video and test questions about it after to help learn watching long paragraphs. EDIT: I've been using it about a month now and I've subscribed.

Pros: It's a great app, with a good ability to allow you to learn sign language at a decent rate! It's easy to use, and is easy to understand! Cons: The practice-able stuff is behind a paywall, which is understandable, I mean you have to continue running the app/business. However it kinda sucks to be poor and want to learn sign language with learning disabilities. Maybe it's my current situation, maybe it's the price/plans. I'm not sure
