It's brief & succinct. I wanted to understand the basics of Norse Mythology, & the author achieved this. It was a little too barebones, in my opinion. I think a few stories detailing specific Acts of heroism & valour done by Thor, Odin, Hela, etc, would have added to the tome. I also think that some B&W illustrations would have been useful, since a picture conveys so much information. There was almost no discussion of the Gods' interactions with mankind, which was a shame.

got some of the facts about the Norse wrong but the mythology seems to be on point. one example is that the writer says they used boar skin armor when in fact the Norse did have metal working and had bows, swords, spears, chainmail and the like.

This was a very informative read. As someone who loves Vikings and all things Norse, I just wish I had a physical copy to carry with me everywhere. 10/10
