About this ebook

Terry Goodkind's bestselling, epic fantasy series Sword of Truth continues with the eleventh book Confessor--the basis for the Legend of the Seeker tv show.

Descending into darkness, about to be overwhelmed by evil, those people still free are powerless to stop the coming dawn of a savage new world, while Richard faces the guilt of knowing that he must let it happen. Alone, he must bear the weight of a sin he dare not confess to the one person he loves...and has lost.

Join Richard and Kahlan in the concluding novel of one of the most remarkable and memorable journeys ever written. It started with one rule, and will end with the rule of all rules, the rule unwritten, the rule unspoken since the dawn of history.

When next the sun rises, the world will be forever changed.

finally finished this entire book series and there's alot but here are the takeaways that stuck with me CONS : bad pacing, the plot drags on, characters talk and consider lore and magic without actually experiencing it many times. it gets very theoretical and abstract with its concepts sometimes excessively so. there are parts of the series that were so depressing I felt strongly tempted to stop entirely PROS: the character development is top tier. these dont feel like characters but like actual people. the scenes where terry showed off his creativity really do shine bright. the philosophical topics that come up actually do have some valid meaning and feel enriching to process and think over. it felt like this series expanded my soul itself in a few ways that few other books are able to accomplish personal takeaways : this book series was worth it. not insanely creative but solid and helps to pass the time. I actually feel like my soul has matured after reading.

I liked the ending a little cliche but was nice to have a happy ending for once and have most stories get closure. was a little disappointed that Du Chaillu and her people were never brought up again and Gratch and the other Gars. It was talked about this being a battle all life fighting for good would have to be a part of so many times but they never brought in the gars or blade masters again. was just my peace maybe it was just me who was disappointed by this. But other than that it was a great series a lot of ups and downs so thank you Terry.

I have always hated the ending to a series of books. The sword of truth has had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning to the very end. The ending of a series always leaves me with that empty feeling of wanting more but unable to have it. This is the first ending I have read that left me wanting for nothing else, a perfect ending to a perfect series. I look forward to reading the next series and to reading this one again.
